Author M.T. Anderson believes that the people behind banning his book, Feed, or other books have often not even read the books they are removing from schools, libraries, and book shops. Ironically, Feed is about the degeneration of language due to the constant deluge of advertising and media, themes with which those who ban books would most likely agree.
