Long before the 2017 movie came out, Author Leigh Bardugo grew up watching cartoons and the TV show about Wonder Woman. A huge fan of Wonder Woman who is an “icon and eye candy,” the author wrote her take on this superhero in her book Wonder Woman: Warbringer because she believes that the character is strong and courageous but also has a deep sense of fairness and empathy.
