Like most kids, Author Jerry Spinelli had big dreams. As a little kid, he dreamed of being a cowboy, walking to school in his boots and then serenading his classmates with a rendition of “I’ve Got the Spurs that Jingle Jangle Jingle.” Dreams of being a cowboy turned into ones of being a major league baseball star.
